What happened

Razor USA is recalling Model E300 Electric Scooters because a weld connecting the handlebar to the scooter can break and cause the handlebar to detach. When this happens, the rider may lose control and fall from the scooter. The recalled scooters are blue or silver in color, and the model number appears on the tube connecting the head tube to the deck. The recall only applies to scooters with barcodes beginning in 100620-03 through -09; scooters with other barcodes or no barcode are not affected.

Consumers who own a recalled scooter should stop using it immediately and contact Razor USA to obtain a free repair kit.
