What happened

iObjectSolutions Inc. is recalling pre-lit palm trees in five sizes: 7-foot, 7-foot with coconuts, 5-foot with coconuts, 4.5-foot, and 2.5-foot models. These decorative trees feature golden rope lights spiraled around the trunk and green rope lights lining the palm leaves. The recalled products pose electric shock and fire hazards because if the electrical connectors are not fully inserted, they can overheat.

If you own one of these recalled palm trees, you should stop using it immediately and contact the retailer where you purchased it to receive a free replacement.
