The Boyds Collection Ltd. is recalling toy drums due to high levels of lead in the red paint on the drums. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. Two models are affected: Eli's Small Drum (item number 654933), which measures 4¾ inches in diameter and 3½ inches tall, and Liberty's Large Drum (item number 654934), which measures 6¾ inches in diameter and 4 inches tall. Both drums are made of wood, painted blue with white stars on the sides and an antique U.S. flag decoration on the tops and bottoms, and come with two wooden drum sticks.
Consumers who have purchased these recalled drums should immediately remove them from children's access and return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.

The recalled decorative toy drums are made of wood and come with two wooden drum sticks. The sides of the drums are painted blue with white stars and the tops and bottoms feature an antique U.S. flag decoration. The Eli's Small Drum measures 4 ¾ inches in diameter and 3 ½ inches tall. The Liberty's Large Drum measures 6 ¾ inches in diameter and 4 inches tall. The Eli's Small Drum has item number 654933 printed on its hangtag and packaging. The Liberty's Large Drum has item number 654934 printed on its hangtag and packaging. The drums are packaged and sold separately.
