What happened

KTM is recalling certain off-road motorcycles from model years 2005, 2006, and 2007 because the seal around the fuel tank can loosen, allowing fuel to leak and creating a fire hazard. The affected models include the 250SX-F (2005), various XC and EXC models from 2006, and numerous SX, XC, and XCW models from 2007, among others.

Consumers who own recalled motorcycles should stop using these vehicles immediately and contact their local KTM dealer to schedule an appointment for a free repair. KTM is sending direct notices to consumers with the recalled vehicles.
