Casio Inc. is recalling model CTK-710 61-key electronic keyboards because they can overheat during use, creating a fire hazard. The recalled keyboards measure 37-11/16 inches by 14-1/16 inches by 5-1/4 inches. Only keyboards with serial numbers between 7030001 through 7040400 or 7041901 through 7043500 are affected. The model number appears on the front of the keyboard above the keys, and the serial number is located inside the battery compartment on the underside of the unit.
If you own one of the affected keyboards, you should stop using it immediately, unplug it, and remove the batteries. Contact Casio for a free repair of your keyboard.
