Zoeller Pump Co. is recalling septic pumps with 20-foot black cords due to a grounding problem in the plug that could create an electrical shock hazard. The recalled pumps have date codes 0906 or 1006 and include models 53, 57, 151, 152, 153, and WM48. The date code can be found on the nameplate on top of the pump for most models, or on the tag near the plug for the WM48 model. The plug is stamped with "Philippines." Pumps that have already been hard wired during installation with the plug removed are not part of the recall.
