What happened

Brunswick Bowling & Billiards Corp. is recalling Frameworx table height chairs and bar stools because the down shaft on the seat plate assembly can fracture, causing a person sitting on the seat to fall. The recalled products are the short table height chair model number 53-861025-000 and the tall bar stool model number 57-860979-000. These chairs and bar stools feature a plastic bucket-style seat bolted to a steel seat plate assembly. The model numbers are not printed on the chairs themselves but can be found on the original shipping carton, packing list, or invoice.

Owners of the recalled chairs and bar stools should stop using these products immediately and contact Brunswick to receive a free repair kit. Bowling centers that own these products have been directly notified about the recall by Brunswick.
