What happened

ALEX children's Super Cooking Sets, which are 12-piece stainless steel cooking sets sold in white boxes with clear plastic windows, are being recalled because the clear glass pot lids can break and create a laceration hazard to children. The sets include a pasta pot with glass lid, stockpot with glass lid, frying pan, two potholders, and utensils. The glass lids have a red sticker labeled "unbreakable glass." Cooking sets manufactured after April 1, 2006 with stainless steel lids are not part of this recall.

Consumers who have an affected set should immediately take the glass lids away from children and contact ALEX to receive a free replacement lid set.
