American Suzuki Motor Corp. Recalls All-Terrain Vehicles

Is my product affected?

Suzuki 2006 Model Year Eiger ATVs

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

American Suzuki Motor Corp. is recalling certain 2006 model year all-terrain vehicles, specifically the LT-A400K6, LT-A400FK6, and LT-F400FK6 models with specific vehicle identification numbers. The problem involves mounting brackets that secure the left-front suspension arm to the ATV frame, which may not have been completely welded. If these brackets break during riding, the rider could lose control of the vehicle and crash, potentially causing serious injury or death. The recalled ATVs were sold in red, black, and green.

Consumers who own one of these recalled vehicles should stop using it immediately and contact their local Suzuki ATV dealer to schedule a free repair appointment. Suzuki is sending direct notice to affected consumers. To determine if your ATV is included in the recall, check the vehicle identification number on the left rear side of the frame at www.suzukicycles.com. The recalled models have "Eiger," "QuadRunner," or "Suzuki" printed on the side.
