Girls' hooded sweatshirts with the "ROXY GIRL" brand have been recalled because a drawstring threaded through the hood poses a strangulation hazard to children. The affected sweatshirts come in pink, white, brown, navy, or green and feature a beaded heart logo with embroidered flowers on the front above the left pocket. They were sold in girls' sizes SML through XL and can be identified by style number 484241 (some versions have an M, N, or NN after the number), which appears on the garment's hangtag and individual packaging label.
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts. To receive a full refund, consumers can return the sweatshirts to the place of purchase or mail them to Quiksilver Inc., Attention: Consumer Replacements/Recalled Merchandise, 5600 Argosy Circle, Suite 300, Huntington Beach, California 92649. Returns must include the consumer's name, address, and telephone number.
