What happened

The Swiss Colony is recalling Money Bag candles due to fire and burn hazards. The decorations on these candles can ignite, creating a fire risk, and the candles can produce excessive amounts of pooling wax that may cause burns. The recalled product is a 3¾-inch-tall green candle shaped like a money bag with a gold glitter dollar symbol on the front and actual currency hidden inside, ranging from a $1 coin to a $50 bill. These candles were sold under item numbers BI4372, BR4372, RA7372, RB4372, RG4372, and RW4372 and are identified by hang tags reading "The Money Bag by The Original Treasure Candle, ® Inc."

Consumers who own this candle should stop using it immediately and contact The Swiss Colony for instructions on returning the product for a full refund.

Hang tags on the candle identify the candle as "The Money Bag by The Original Treasure Candle, ® Inc." They were sold under item numbers BI4372, BR4372, RA7372, RB4372, RG4372 and RW4372. The item number is not written on the candle.
