Sam & Libby Girls' Thong Sandals
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Nine West Footwear Corporation is recalling three sandal models—Fish, Starfish, and Angelfish—designed for little girls in sizes 11 through 5. The sandals are identifiable by decorative fish-shaped ornaments on the straps and come in bright pink (Starfish model) or bright turquoise (Fish and Angelfish models). The sole features a wood-like top surface in pink or turquoise and bears a pink label printed with "Sam and Libby" in silver lettering.
The recall was issued because metal tacks that secure the strap sides to the sole can detach or be pulled out, which poses a laceration hazard. Consumers who have purchased these sandals should stop wearing them immediately and return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.
