Is my product affected?

Kid's Folding Chairs

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Fourstar Group is recalling kid's folding chairs due to a defective safety lock that can fail and cause the chair to collapse unexpectedly. When the chair collapses, children's fingers can become caught or trapped in the hinge and slot areas, creating a pinch or cut hazard that may result in severe lacerations or finger tip amputations. The recalled chairs are made of metal tubing with vinyl padded seats and backs, stand approximately 22 inches high by 13.5 inches wide by 11.5 inches deep, and were sold in solid colors (red, blue, yellow, green, pink, and lavender) or with printed designs such as "Princess" themes or sports equipment. The chairs were sold individually or as part of sets with a table and two chairs, and have a Fourstar Group manufacturing or import label on the underside of the seat.

According to the recall, affected consumers should stop using the chairs immediately and contact Fourstar for instructions on receiving a free repair kit that includes a replacement locking pin.
