General Binding Corp. has recalled HeatSeal™ Pouch Laminators due to improper wiring at the heating coil that could cause the devices to overheat and become a fire hazard. The recall affects H300 and H200 model laminators used for laminating documents and photos. The H300 models with serial numbers starting with "PI," "PJ," "PK," "PL," "QA," "QB," "QC," or "QD" are included, as are H200 models with serial numbers starting with "PI" or "PJ." Model and serial numbers can be found on the top of the device and on the rating plate on the bottom.
Consumers who own a recalled pouch laminator should stop using it immediately and contact GBC for a free replacement or refund.

The recall includes the H300 and H200 model HeatSeal™ Pouch Laminators. They are used to laminate documents and photos. The recalled H300 Pouch Laminators have serial numbers starting with "PI," "PJ," "PK," "PL," "QA," "QB," "QC" or "QD." The recalled H200 Pouch Laminators have serial numbers starting with "PI" or "PJ". The H300 and H200 model numbers are found on the top of the Pouch Laminators, and on the rating plate on the bottom of the Pouch Laminators. The serial numbers are found on the rating plate on the bottom of the Pouch Laminators.
