The May Department Stores Co. is recalling girls' hooded fleece jackets because the zipper pull can detach, creating a choking hazard for young children. The affected jackets bear either the "Just Friends" or "Angel Fish" brand name on the inside collar and are made of 80 percent cotton and 20 percent polyester. Three style numbers are involved: style 60103 in girl sizes 4-6X (available in pink, green, blue, and lilac), style 60104 in girl sizes 4-6X (available in lilac, melon, and turquoise), and style 70103 in toddler sizes 2-4 (available in pink, mint green, and lilac). The style number can be found on each jacket's hang tag.
Consumers who have purchased one of these jackets should return it to the store where it was originally purchased to receive either a refund or store credit.
