What happened

Toys "R" Us and the CPSC have recalled sidewalk chalk sold in clear-plastic backpack-type carrying cases labeled "Chalk To Go...Totally Me!...24 pieces, sidewalk chalk in different colors, fun chalk shapes." The chalk comes in various shapes including butterflies, spiders, ice cream cones, bottles, cylinders, and triangular sticks, in solid colors or combinations of red, blue, green, yellow, and purple. The recalled products contain high levels of lead, which poses a poisoning risk to young children.

Consumers who have purchased this sidewalk chalk should return it to Toys "R" Us for a refund.
