MAAX Spas is recalling Infinity and Lifestyle model spas because the motor capacitor in the circulating pump can overheat and create a fire hazard. Only spas equipped with a Motor Capacitor Inc. capacitor are affected. You can identify if your spa has the recalled part by looking for a label on the motor that reads "Tiny Might."

If you own an affected spa, you should contact the MAAX Spa Fulfillment Center to determine if your specific model is included in the recall and to arrange for a free replacement pump motor capacitor to be installed.
