What happened

The Little Red Chef Food Chopper, a red plastic hand-held food slicer and dicer measuring approximately 6.5 by 2.5 by 2.0 inches, poses a finger and hand cutting hazard during use. The food chopper contains six roller blades at the front and a single slicing blade on top, and is stamped inside the handle with "Made in W. Germany" and "Famos Gerate" along with a four-pointed star. It comes with a flexible white plastic cutting mat labeled "Little Red Chef."

To address this hazard, consumers should immediately stop using the Little Red Chef Food Chopper. QVC, Inc. will send all owners a blade guard at no cost that makes the food chopper safer to use.

It measures approximately 6.5 inches in length, 2.5 inches in width and 2.0 inches in height at its highest point. The food chopper is stamped on the inside of the handle, "Made in W. Germany" and "Famos Gerate", with a four-pointed star. A flexible white plastic cutting mat that has "Little Red Chef" printed in the upper left-hand corner accompanies the food chopper.
