The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Perfect Fit Industries are recalling SOIREE® electric blankets sold at Belk stores (in ivory only) and Soft n' Warm® electric blankets sold at K-mart (in ivory, light blue, and hunter green). Both models were sold in king, queen, full, and twin sizes. These blankets can overheat and cause burn injuries, particularly when folded or bunched. The recalled blankets have a permanent label reading "Perfect Fit" and "Shell Made in China. Wired and Closed in U.S.A." The Soft n' Warm® model has a date code between 02228 and 02305 printed on the warning label at the foot of the blanket.

The model name appears on the packaging, but not on the blanket. Both models have a UL warning label and a permanent label that reads "Perfect Fit" and "Shell Made in China. Wired and Closed in U.S.A." The Soft n' Warm® model has a date code ranging from 02228 through 02305 printed on a warning label on the foot of the blanket.
