Riding lawn mowers
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Exmark is recalling certain 20-horsepower Lazer HP riding mowers because their fuel lines are too long and may droop into contact with moving parts. When the fuel lines are cut by moving parts, fuel can leak from the mower. The affected models are the LHP4420KC, LHP4820KC, and LHP5220KC, all with serial numbers between 320,000 and 369,999. The model and serial number can be found on an aluminum plate on the right side of the unit, located below and behind the deck lift lever pivot point.
Consumers who own these mowers should stop using them immediately. Registered owners should have received a letter with instructions and a reply card for the repair. To obtain a free repair or a copy of the modification instructions, affected consumers should contact their Exmark dealer or call Exmark directly. No additional parts are needed for this modification, as the repair only involves shortening the existing fuel lines.
