The CPSC and Hedstrom Corp. have announced a recall of 12-foot, 13-foot, and 14-foot trampolines sold under the brand names Hedstrom and NBF. These trampolines were sold both separately and bundled with safety enclosures. The recalled models have one of these model numbers: 10136, 101366, 101442, 10146, 102369, 102949, 10321, 103217, or 10381. The model number and date code can be found on a Model I.D. label located on one of the frame rail legs. The date codes on recalled trampolines range from 0403 through 2103, with the last two digits always being 03.

The hazard involves welds on the trampoline frame that can break during use, causing consumers to fall and suffer injuries. Because the manufacturer is out of business, no remedy is available. According to the recall notice, consumers should stop using the trampolines immediately and either discard or destroy the product to prevent injuries.
