What happened

Next Level Communications is recalling power supplies used with Next Level ADSL/VDSL ETHERset modems that provide high-speed internet access. The recalled power supplies have a black plastic housing measuring 2.5 inches wide, 2.75 inches high, and 1.5 inches deep, with "PowDec" and model number "WP12303N" printed on a label on the back. An internal electrical component in these power supplies can overheat and cause the plastic housing to melt or deform, creating a thermal burn hazard.

If you have one of these power supplies, you should immediately stop using it and contact Next Level Communications to request a replacement power supply.
