What happened

Flat Rock Grill Co. has recalled its Shoreline Series Models 2000 and 3000 gas grills because the glass casing on the thermometer display attached to the grill hood can break or shatter, potentially causing cuts or serious injuries to consumers. The thermometer is 3 inches in diameter with a temperature range from 50 to 550 degrees and displays either "BBQ-1" or "BBQ Pit" written inside the glass casing. Thermometers marked with the word "Trend" are not part of this recall.

Since Flat Rock Grill Co. is no longer in business, no replacement or repair remedy is available. Consumers who have one of these affected grills should discard the product and not donate or resell it.

These heavy-duty, stainless steel grills are Flat Rock Grill Shoreline Series Models 2000 and 3000. The model number is written on a label on the front of the grill. FRG is on the front of the grill. The grill has a thermometer display on the grill hood that measures 3 inches in diameter, and has a temperature range from 50 to 550 degrees. The thermometer display has "BBQ-1" or "BBQ Pit" Thermometer written within the glass casing. Thermometers with the word "Trend" written within the casing are not included in the recall.
