ACJ-250 Aroma Juice Extractors
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Aroma Housewares Co. is recalling all model ACJ-250 Aroma Juice Extractors because the filter and lid can break apart and project metal and plastic into the air, potentially injuring consumers. The recalled juicer is made of white and clear plastic with a metal filter and has "Aroma" printed on the front. The model number "ACJ-250" and "MADE IN CHINA" appear on a silver label on the bottom of the unit. This recall includes redesigned juicers that were previously distributed as replacements following an earlier recall of 40,000 units in June 1999.
Consumers who own a recalled juicer should stop using it immediately and contact Aroma Housewares for information on receiving a refund. This applies even to consumers who previously received a replacement juicer as part of the original recall.
