PM International Ltd. is recalling 2-prong slip-on adapter plugs used to connect American electrical plugs to foreign outlets. The plastic adapters have a white matte finish and are marked only with "6A250V" molded on the bottom between the prongs. The adapter plug can separate when removed, exposing live electrical conductors and creating an electric shock or electrocution hazard. Only adapter plugs sold individually are affected by this recall; those sold as part of traveling kits with voltage converters are not included.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled adapters and contact the store or catalog where they purchased the adapter to receive a free replacement.

The only marking on the plug is "6A250V", which is molded on the bottom surface between the prongs of the adapter. No other writing appears on the adapters. PM International sold the adapter plugs individually and as part of a traveling kit with voltage converters. Only adapter plugs sold individually are included in the recall.
