Black & Decker Cordless Electric Lawn Mower
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Black & Decker is recalling certain cordless electric lawn mowers because clips that hold the control cable to the handle may be missing. If these clips are absent, the blade control device could fail and the mower blade may continue running when it should stop, creating a risk of serious injury to users. The recalled mowers have an orange deck and charcoal black motor cover with the model number CMM1000R and date codes between 0043 M.N.D.C. and 0121 M.N.D.C., found on a label on the rear door. The affected mowers also display "Black & Decker" and "Cordless" text on the motor cover. Only reconditioned mowers sold at Black & Decker factory stores are included in this recall.
Consumers who have one of these recalled mowers should stop using it immediately and take it to a Black & Decker service center where it will be repaired at no cost.
