Value City and Schottenstein Stores are recalling Gel Candle kits due to a fire hazard. When the gel candles are burned, they can melt the plastic candleholders that come with the kit. The kits contain four bags of colored gel chips, wicks, glitter, two glass holders, and two plastic candleholders shaped like insects or flowers. The gel is scented with fruit flavors, and the kits are labeled "Express Ways!™ Gel Candles" with model numbers "3041" or "3042" on the box.

Consumers who have purchased these kits should stop using the candles immediately and return them to the store where they were purchased for a refund.
