Cub Cadet Garden Tractors
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Cub Cadet Corporation and the CPSC are recalling certain garden tractors because the rear wheel can loosen and spin freely on its axle. This defect can cause a loss of power to the wheel and brake, creating a risk of injury to users. The recalled tractors have a 44-inch cutting deck, an 18- or 20-horsepower engine, a yellow base, and a black seat and steering wheel. The model name "Cub Cadet" appears in blue on the engine hood near the steering wheel, and the model number #3184 is printed in large numbers on the hood and on a model plate label on the lower frame near the right front wheel.
If you own one of these tractors, you should stop using it immediately and contact the Cub Cadet dealership where you purchased it to schedule a free repair.
