NRS water sports helmets
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
NRS is recalling "Chaos Side Cut" water sports helmets used for rafting, kayaking, stand-up paddling, and canoeing because rivets that hold the chin strap to the helmet can fail, causing the helmet to fall off during an incident and increasing the risk of head injury. The recalled helmets come in yellow, red, blue, or white with "NRS" printed on the front and back, a black "Boa" dial-fit retention harness inside, and a white sticker inside with "Chaos" and PO#39225 printed on it. Helmets with an "Inspected" sticker inside the shell under the Boa dial are not affected by this recall.
Consumers who own a recalled helmet should immediately stop using it and return it to the place of purchase or to NRS for either a free replacement helmet or a full refund.
