What happened

Rollerblade USA is recalling Tempest inline skates due to misaligned mounting holes in the boot and frame that can cause the boot to separate from the frame, creating a fall hazard. The recalled skates are high-performance training or racing models sold in various color combinations, identifiable by the "Rollerblade" brand name and "Tempest" model name on the back of the cuff. The skates have silver frame mounting bolts that attach a boot to an aluminum frame holding four wheels, and a model number appears on the side of the heel. The recall affects specific men's and women's models in sizes 90, 100, and 110, identified by their model numbers and SKU numbers.

Consumers who own recalled Tempest skates should immediately stop using them and contact Rollerblade USA for a free inspection and free replacement if the mounting holes on their skates are found to be misaligned.
