Implus Footcare is recalling Perfect Fitness Resistance Bands sold exclusively at Walmart because the rubber bands can detach from the mesh cloth loops, creating an injury hazard to users and bystanders. The recalled products are approximately 40-inch rubber tubes that can be used with optional separately-sold handles for exercises. Three versions are affected: the Heavy 25 lb. capacity (purple, UPC 096506310354), the Very Heavy 30 lb. capacity (gray, UPC 096506310361), and the Ultra Heavy 40 lb. capacity (black, UPC 096506310378). All have "Perfect Fitness" printed on a cloth loop tag.
Consumers who own these bands should immediately stop using them and contact Implus Footcare for either a refund or replacement product.

The Perfect Bands are rubber tubes connected through a hole and secured by grommets to cloth sewn into loops. The bands can be used alone or in conjunction with optional handles, which are sold separately. The bands are approximately 40 inches long and are used for exercises described on the product packaging card and in a Workout Chart available on line on the product website. "Perfect Fitness" is printed on a tag on the cloth loop. UPC codes can be found on the package.
