What happened

Enesco has recalled Shelly's Diner, a ceramic collectible building from the Department 56 Original Snow Village collection that is approximately 10 ¼ inches long by 6 ¼ inches high and 4 ½ inches deep. The diner comes with a power cord for interior lighting and a separate power adapter for exterior lighting. The power adapter can overheat and melt its plastic housing, creating a fire hazard. The recall applies to diners with date codes 03 12 JP01 or 05 12 JP01 stamped on the bottom.

If you own an affected diner, you should immediately stop using the power adapter and contact Enesco for either a free replacement adapter or a full refund.
