Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Fu San Machinery is recalling seven brands of low lead ball valves used in flammable gas piping systems in commercial and residential settings. The valves can crack and cause gas to leak, creating fire and explosion hazards. The recalled valves are brass shut-off valves in ¾ inch and 1 inch sizes sold under the brand names Aqualine, AY McDonald, FNW, Hodes Co., Legend, Leonard Valve, and Mueller. The valves have date codes ranging from 1103 through 1112 (in YYMM format), which are located under the valve handle, and are marked with Fu San's logo, an "O" marking for low lead valves, and "Taiwan" on the handle.
Consumers with these valves should turn off the gas supply until a replacement gas valve has been professionally installed. Affected consumers should contact Danville Sales, which will provide $300 in compensation to reimburse costs for removing and returning the valve and for purchasing and installing a replacement. To receive reimbursement, consumers must send the recalled valve along with a photo showing it in the gas line before removal and displaying the date code, the installation address and location details, and their name and address to the Danville Sales Office address provided in the recall notice.
