Shimano has recalled PRO VIBE bicycle handlebars designed for high-end road racing bikes because the handlebars can break during riding and cause a fall. The affected handlebars are compact and drop-shaped, sold separately, and have "Pro Vibe" logos printed directly on them. The recalled model numbers are PRHA0099, PRHA0102, PRHA0103, PRHA0105, and PRHA0106, with affected serial codes including JE028ZG, JE101ZG, JE106ZG, JF081ZG, JF102ZG, JG048ZG, JH006ZG, and JH077ZG. Model numbers appear on bar code stickers on the packaging, while serial numbers are printed on a label inside the handlebar tube.
Consumers with affected handlebars should immediately stop using bicycles equipped with them and contact Shimano for information about obtaining a free replacement from an authorized retailer in their area.

The recalled model numbers are: PRHA0099, PRHA0102, PRHA0103, PRHA0105 and PRHA0106. The affected serial codes are: JE028ZG, JE101ZG, JE106ZG, JF081ZG, JF102ZG, JG048ZG, JH006ZG and JH077ZG.
