What happened

XS Scuba is recalling Miflex high pressure diving hoses because they can rupture, which reduces the air supply available to a diver and creates a drowning hazard. The affected hoses have "MFX" stamped on the end fitting and were sold as individual replacement gauge hoses, cascade hoses, and as part of several kits and products including the Deluxe Cylinder Equalizer with Miflex HP hose (model AC366), Miflex Two-Gauge Console (models HL300/HL300M), and Miflex Rebreather Kits (models MRB-EVO-LG, MRB-EVO-MD, and MRB-ISP-POST-LG).

Consumers who have these hoses should immediately stop using them and contact XS Scuba for instructions on how to receive a free replacement hose.
