Gems 3100 Pressure Detectors/Transducers
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Gems Sensors is recalling its 3100 Pressure Transducer because the device can fail to accurately detect water pressure in fire suppression sprinkler systems. If the transducer fails, the sprinkler system may not activate and pump water to the sprinklers during a fire. The transducer is identified by a label on the center of the unit that reads "Gems Sensors & Controls" along with an 18-digit part number beginning with "3100."
Consumers who have the recalled transducer should contact Gems Sensors to receive enhanced twice-monthly inspection instructions and information about a free replacement transducer when warranted. End-users who use the 3100 Pressure Transducer in other applications involving water pressure measurement should also contact Gems to determine if their units are affected by this recall.
