Philips North America, LLC has recalled 24,545 rechargeable 3.7V Li-Polymer batteries (Product #989803191341) used in Expression MR400 MRI Patient Monitoring Systems. The batteries were manufactured between December 2018 and February 2020 and were distributed worldwide. The recalled batteries experience a problem when inserted into their approved charging station or module charger: the LED indicator light turns solid red and the battery fails to charge, which may result from poor electrical contact between the battery and charger.
