Roche Diagnostics Operations, Inc. is recalling ACCU-CHEK Tender I and ACCU-CHEK Tender II infusion sets due to a potential defect where the tubing can become detached at the connect/disconnect location. These infusion sets are used to deliver insulin and other fluids under the skin. If the tubing detaches, insulin delivery stops, and importantly, the pump will not sound an alarm to alert the user to this problem. A total of 13,041 boxes were distributed nationwide.
