Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Newmar Corporation is recalling certain 2019-2022 motorhome models including Bay Star, Bay Star Sport, Ventana, Dutch Star, New Aire, Canyon Star, Kountry Star, Mountain Aire, London Aire, Essex, and Super Star vehicles. The wiring under the seats may be incorrectly secured, which can pinch wires in the seat adjustment mechanism and create an electrical short circuit that increases the risk of fire.
Dealers will inspect and secure the wiring, adding circuit breaker and fuse protection as necessary at no charge to owners. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed on June 10, 2022. Affected owners should contact Newmar's customer service at 1-800-731-8300.
