Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2022 Ram 2500 and 3500 cab chassis vehicles with GVWR less than 10,000 lbs, as well as 2021-2022 Dodge Durango vehicles. These vehicles have a defect in the ABS control module software that may prevent the electronic stability control (ESC) malfunction indicator light from illuminating when an ESC problem occurs. This failure to alert drivers to an ESC malfunction increases the risk of a crash.
To remedy this issue, dealers will update the ABS control module software at no charge to vehicle owners. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 29, 2022. Affected consumers should contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403 to schedule the repair. FCA US, LLC's recall number for this issue is Z20.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2022 Ram 2500 and 2021-2022 Dodge Durango vehicles, and 2019-2022 3500 cab chassis with GVWR less than 10,000 lbs. The ABS control module software may prevent the electronic stability control (ESC) malfunction indicator light from illuminating during certain conditions. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems."
