Cummins, Inc. is recalling certain Cummins Westport Inc. B6.7N natural gas engines with part number D1H3001BX03 that have specific engine control module calibrations. The engine control module software may be calibrated incorrectly, which can prevent the engine from properly limiting speed and torque for safety functions including vehicle braking, traction control, stability control, speed control, and collision avoidance systems. This malfunction increases the risk of a crash.
