Certain 2018 Honda CRF250L motorcycles are being recalled because the wiring harness may have been improperly installed, causing potential damage that affects critical safety features. If the wiring harness is damaged, the motorcycle's exterior lights may not function, reducing visibility to other traffic; the horn may not work, preventing riders from alerting other drivers; the instrument panel may fail to display speed or fuel level; and the engine may stall unexpectedly, all of which increase crash risk.

Lack of exterior lights can reduce the visibility of the motorcycle to traffic.
