2018 GLAVAL BUS COMMUTE
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2018 Glaval Bus Commute transit buses built on a 2018 Ford Transit van chassis because the hazard lights may not illuminate or flash when the ignition is turned off. This creates a safety risk because a stopped vehicle with non-functioning hazard lights may have reduced visibility to other drivers, increasing the crash risk. The vehicles fail to comply with federal safety standards for lamps and associated equipment.
Forest River will notify owners about the recall, which began on March 2, 2018. Dealers will rewire the hazard warning signal flashers into their programmable relay power centers at no charge to owners. Affected consumers should contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-343-5111 to arrange the repair, and can reference recall number 35-0649.
