Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2017 Ford Explorer, F-150, F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 vehicles equipped with a manual driver's seat back recliner mechanism. The issue involves inadequate welds on the seat back frame, which may prevent the seat from properly restraining an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury. These vehicles may not meet federal safety standards for head restraints and seating systems.
