2016 HONDA ODYSSEY
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Honda is recalling certain 2016 Odyssey vehicles manufactured between September 23, 2016, and October 24, 2016, because the second row center seat may have a defective horizontal adjuster bar that can stick in the unlocked position. When stuck unlocked, the seat may unexpectedly slide, increasing the risk of injury to the seat occupant during a crash. These vehicles do not meet federal safety standards for seat systems.
To remedy this issue, Honda dealers will inspect the slide function of the affected seat and replace the horizontal position adjustment bar as needed, at no cost to the owner. The recall began in February 2017. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138 and reference recall number KD4.
