Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Newmar Corporation is recalling certain 2017 model year motorhomes (Dutch Star, Mountain Aire, London Aire, Essex, and King Aire) built on Spartan Motors chassis and manufactured between May 12, 2016, and September 22, 2016. The throttle circuit wires in these vehicles may not have been properly twisted to prevent electromagnetic interference, which could cause the throttle signal to become higher or lower than intended, resulting in unintended acceleration or deceleration and increased crash risk.
Owners of affected vehicles should contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300 or Spartan at 1-800-543-4277 to be notified about the recall. Spartan dealers will install an overlay harness with twisted wires at no cost to the owner. The recall began on December 1, 2016, and Newmar's reference number for this recall is 16V-776.
