2017 NISSAN VERSA
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Nissan is recalling certain 2017 Versa vehicles manufactured between August 1, 2016, and August 16, 2016, because the side curtain air bags may not deploy properly in a crash. A seam in the fabric of these air bags can tear during deployment, which could increase the risk of injury to occupants in a side-impact collision.
Nissan will notify owners of affected vehicles, and authorized dealers will replace both the left and right side curtain air bags at no cost. The recall began on December 2, 2016. Owners of potentially affected vehicles should contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261 to determine if their vehicle is included in this recall.
