What happened

Harbor Freight Tools is recalling certain Haul Master trailers from model years 2006-2016 (model numbers 90154, 42708, 90153, 66771, 42709, and 94564) and 2013-2016 (model numbers 62170, 62209, 61730, and 69897). The trailers may have rear lamp brackets positioned incorrectly, preventing the license plate from being properly illuminated. This creates a visibility hazard that increases the risk of vehicle crashes, as other drivers may have difficulty seeing the trailers.

Harbor Freight will provide affected owners with a new tail light package at no cost. The recall began on October 10, 2016. To obtain the replacement parts, owners should contact Harbor Freight customer service at 1-805-388-1000.
