Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Newmar Corporation is recalling certain 2014-2015 Essex and 2015 Mountain Aire and London Aire motorhomes built between May 20, 2013, and April 9, 2015. These vehicles, which are built on Freightliner rear engine chassis with 18,000-pound or 20,000-pound-capacity front axles, may experience power steering hose failure because the power steering fluid temperature can exceed the hose material's temperature rating. If this occurs, drivers would experience a sudden loss of power steering assist, making the vehicle significantly harder to steer at low speeds and increasing crash risk.
To remedy the issue, Freightliner dealers will replace the power steering hose with a higher temperature-rated one at no cost to owners. Affected owners should contact Freightliner customer service at 1-800-547-0712 or Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300 (Newmar recall number 16V-121) to schedule the replacement.
