General Motors is recalling certain 2016 Chevrolet Colorado, Chevrolet Malibu, and GMC Canyon vehicles manufactured during specific periods in January and February 2016. The driver side frontal air bag may inflate improperly during second-stage deployment in a high-speed crash, which increases the risk of injury to the driver.
To address this issue, GM will notify owners and dealers will replace the driver side frontal air bag module at no cost.
